The Fanco Studio DC Low Profile 48" is the perfect ceiling fan for apartments and smaller living spaces as the fan sits much closer to the ceiling than most other models on the market. With only a 240mm drop from the ceiling to the base, the Fanco Studio DC is well suited for areas that have a lower than standard ceiling height or even for those who prefer the sleek look of a low profile fan.
Powered by an efficient 30W DC motor the Studio features 3 modern ABS plastic blades which are controlled with the included 6 speed wall control to move a maximum of 10,170 m3/hr. Unlike most wall control models which are powered by an AC motor, the Studio's new cutting edge design lets you control this DC motor fan with the included wall control.
Please note that the wall controller requires a specific and accurate hole size in the gyprock. Take a look at the Fanco Recommended Installation Guide for more information.
As the face of this wall controller is 85mm square, if you are replacing a standard sized wall control you may need to patch the hole or install a blank plate and install this controller next to it. We would recommend discussing with your installing electrician prior to purchasing to determine suitability.
